Internship Overview

This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in the humanitarian field. Interns will engage directly in activities related to training coordination, project management, humanitarian communication, and community engagement. Through active involvement in real humanitarian initiatives and close collaboration with sector professionals, interns will develop key competencies relevant to a career in international aid.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and coordination of humanitarian training programs;
  • Contribute to youth engagement efforts through awareness and information campaigns;
  • Assist in developing educational and communication materials (e.g., training documents, flyers, social media content);
  • Help organize events and webinars promoting humanitarian values and solidarity;
  • Participate in drafting activity reports and documenting good practices;
  • Conduct research on thematic areas such as protection, education, and humanitarian leadership;
  • Gather data from local NGOs or community groups to support partnership development and needs assessments;
  • Contribute to the monitoring and follow-up of community-based projects and training initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in social sciences, international development, international relations, project management, or a related discipline;
  • Demonstrated interest in humanitarian work and community-driven approaches;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proactive, well-organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Canva is an advantage;
  • Previous experience in the humanitarian sector or volunteering is a plus.
