Street Child Cameroon is hiring 3 Child Protection Data Clerks (2 in Yaoundé, 1 in Buea) for the Barry Callebaut Case Management Project.

Position Summary
Under the overall leadership of the Country Director, with strategic guidance from the Head of Programmes and direct supervision from the MEAL Programme Officer, the Child Protection Data Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting the case management team. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate entry of case information into the Child Rights Monitoring and Reporting System (CRMRS). The Data Clerk will contribute to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information, thereby enhancing the efficiency and impact of child protection interventions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Entry and Management

Enter case-related data into the CRMRS system with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.

Maintain up-to-date electronic and physical case files.
-
Support the development and upkeep of internal tracking tools for effective data monitoring.
2. Data Quality Assurance
-
Perform regular reviews and audits to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.

Work closely with caseworkers to validate case entries and resolve data issues.

Uphold strict adherence to data protection policies and confidentiality requirements.
3. Reporting and Documentation
-
Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports for internal use and external partners.

Assist in compiling statistical reports and data visualizations as needed.

Keep systematic records of all reports and related data documentation.
4. Capacity Building and Team Support

Provide guidance and training to case management staff on data entry standards and best practices.

Stay informed of system updates and CRMRS enhancements.

Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to efforts for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential Requirements:
-
Minimum of a high school diploma; additional certifications in data management or related fields are an advantage.

At least two years of relevant experience in data entry or administrative roles, preferably within child protection or social service sectors.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using data management platforms.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Bilingual fluency in French and English.
Desirable Assets:

Prior experience with child protection case management systems such as CPIMS+.

Familiarity with child protection standards, including principles of confidentiality.

Ability to work effectively in a diverse, team-oriented environment.

Working Conditions
